Riley has been thriving in college the past two years away from her family, but the unexpected passing of her mother forces her to snap out of her picture-perfect reality and return home to face a grieving father and a younger sister who idolizes her every move. An expert at internalizing, Riley struggles to make sense of the why’s and is too lost in her own process to be the hero others expect her to be. Note: This role involves a water scene. There will be a life guard on set, but actors must feel comfortable in knee-deep water.
